Braised mussels in tomatoes

What a great turnout to see celebrated chef, Guy Grossi, show us how to put the season’s harvest of tomatoes to good use with fresh mussels.

In conjunction with the upcoming Melbourne Tomato Festival, 19 March in Northcote, Guy will be sharing a couple of traditional signature dishes with us right here at the market. ┬áHis first appearance took place on Saturday, 18 February and Guy returns to make fettuccini matriciana on Saturday, 4 March at 10am – see you here!

After purchasing sauce tomatoes from our very own, MnM Fruit Supply and fresh mussels from our Meat and Fish section, Guy set to the stage to put it all together.
